2. Scope & Regions

This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data when you use loopyzee.com and related sub-domains, tools, and downloads (the “Service”). Our primary audience is the USA, Canada, and Australia. We do not specifically target the EEA/UK, but visitors from any country may access the Service; where applicable, we honour relevant rights (e.g., GDPR/UK GDPR).

3. Data We Collect

  • Usage & Analytics (PostHog): page views, events (e.g., template views, download clicks, Prints of Love clicks), referrer/UTM, device/browser info, approximate location inferred from IP.
  • Technical: IP address, headers, crash logs, CDN/edge logs (via Vercel).
  • Cookies & Local Storage: consent preferences, analytics toggles (see Cookie Policy).
  • Support: messages you send to support@/privacy@.
  • Referrals/Ads: click-through and attribution parameters for partners (e.g., Prints of Love;).

We do not currently operate user accounts on the Site. If accounts are introduced later, this Policy will be updated.

4. How We Use Data

  • Provide, maintain, and secure the Service (debugging, fraud prevention).
  • Analyse usage and improve UX/content/performance.
  • Measure referral performance and advertising effectiveness (when enabled).
  • Respond to support enquiries and comply with legal obligations.
  • Legitimate interests: analytics to improve the Service, prevent abuse, measure referrals/ads.
  • Consent: for non-essential cookies/analytics where required by local law; you can manage preferences any time.
  • Legal obligation: record-keeping, responding to lawful requests.
  • Contract: where processing is necessary to deliver features you use.

Note: for EEA/UK visitors, we rely on consent for non-essential cookies and honour GDPR/UK GDPR rights where applicable.

6. Sharing & Transfers

  • Service providers/processors: Firebase (Auth/Firestore/Storage/Analytics if used), Vercel (hosting/CDN/logs), PostHog (product analytics), email service/helpdesk.
  • Monetization/partners: Prints of Love (referrals), Mediavine (ads, future), Buy Me a Coffee (donations, future).
  • Authorities/advisors: where required by law or to protect our rights.

Data may be processed or stored outside your jurisdiction, including in the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., SCCs or UK IDTA).

7. Data Retention

  • Analytics (PostHog): retained for up to 24 months, then aggregated/anon.
  • Server/CDN logs (Vercel): typically 30–90 days, unless needed longer for security.
  • Support emails: 24 months after last interaction.
  • Referral/ads logs: typically 12–24 months per partner policies.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, withdraw consent, and data portability. Submit requests at support@loopyzee.com (or privacy@loopyzee.com). We aim to respond within 30 days (or the statutory period) and may need to verify your identity.

California (CCPA/CPRA): use our Do Not Sell or Share (CA) control to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising.

9. Cookies & Consent

10. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (and under 16 in the EEA/UK where consent is required). Do not submit personal data of children without appropriate parental consent and legal basis.

11. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures (TLS, access controls, least-privilege, backups). No method is 100% secure; please use caution when sharing information online.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new version with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
